Family and Fun-Filled Summer
It has been quite a summer thus far. I'll try to do little writing and let the pics do the talkin'. Here it goes (in reverse order) ...
Rana has apparently inherited her Dad's entrepreneurial (is that a word?) spirit, and opened a lemonade stand today. Here she is with her first customer.
The best CPA on the planet came up from Texas last week to make sure I had my accounting ducks in a row. Can you believe that? It helps that he's Scott's Uncle Lynn, but he was still amazing. He graciously spent time teaching me, and spent lots of time with the kids. They loved "Uncle" (that's what Owen called him).
The weekend before he arrived, the neighborhood had a 4th of July party. This is one of my favorite pics of Owen dancing to the D.J.'s tunes. Had to include this! We spent the 4th at Cody and Rachel's house with the Colorado DCC crew and Chrissy and Clint Stephenson. Don't have any pics, but had tons of fun.
The week before that, Scott's parents were up with one of his sister's and her kiddo's. We did SO MUCH FUN STUFF. I had no idea how exhausted I was until they left. And, here's just a cute pic of Jace cruisin' in his new ride. You may have to enlarge it to get the full effect of adorable-ness (I know that's not a word!).
Not sure why I always use my blog to tell the latest. It would be cool if I had some nice, deep thought on occasion, huh? I will say that Scott and I have not given our kids the attention they deserve this summer. It's been nice having family around to give them attention, but we're due for some change. Will definitely write more on that later ...
