Happy Birthday Aunt Gina!

For those of you wondering who the extra person was in our Christmas photo, that was my big sister. She moved up last summer, and has been the biggest blessing. I'm so thankful she's here. The kids are pretty appreciative too (don't let Jace's face fool you). Happy Birthday Aunt Gina!!!

Funnies

When I woke up this morning, this was our sleeping arrangment. I laid there (to the left of Rana, and not in that big gap in the middle) wondering how it happened. On occasion we'll get one friend in bed, but all three is a rarity. Our king bed seems so spacious compared to the full we had for 9 years, that we normally don't notice. I think Scott noticed!

Today was Owen's first day back to school. This is what he chose to wear. I particularly love the shoes! On these days I can hear my mom saying to me (as a young kid), "You have so many nice clothes. Why do you have to wear that?"

Speaking of my mom ... she just left last Saturday, and I want her back. I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled last Friday, and will have 2 more pulled tomorrow. She brought me chicken noodle soup and baked potatoes in bed, and watched the kids. I also heard her tell Owen, "So." when he said he was thirsty and asked for water. I guess that's what you get when you keep a menopausal-aged woman from her soap opera!!!

Happy New Year!!!

We had a great New Year's celebration with our neighbors. Here are a few of the things we will be celebrating in '08 ...

We just signed the papers to incorporate our business. I didn't know it would be exciting, but it was!

We will be potty training Jace in 2008. No more diapers in the Mc house!!!

Scott and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage in May. Love him!

We have moved into the best neighborhood for our family. We didn't know this a year ago, but we absolutely love our home and neighbors.

And, as we do every year, we will celebrate a home full of laughter and joy with 3 of the most precious blessings; two extended families that are more supportive than most I've seen; and a God who keeps us in the palm of his hand, providing every need plus some.
